Long-range comms and field telemetry
LoRa and LoRaWAN networks, mesh relays and satellite backhaul, plus the data loggers and solar power budgets that keep sensors reporting through winter.
AI · Long-range comms · Autonomy · IoT
Neuralis is an Australian engineering company that designs and builds AI, long-range LoRa communications, drone autonomy and IoT systems. We work from Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast and from Sydney, for farms, field crews and finance teams.
One team, end to end
Field projects often stall at a hand-off. The sensor supplier blames the radio, the radio supplier blames the cloud, and the data never reaches a model. We design the whole chain together, so the power budget, the radio link, the data format and the model fit each other from day one.
01 Sense
Sensors, loggers, cameras and drones measure what is happening on the ground.
02 Connect
LoRa, LTE-M, NB-IoT or satellite links carry the data, with local buffering when a link drops.
03 Decide
Models run on the device or in the cloud and flag what needs attention.
04 Act
Alerts, dashboards, autopilots and reports put the result in front of the right person.
Capabilities
Each capability stands on its own. Most projects use two or three together: a LoRa network feeding a model, or a drone carrying a vision system.
01 · Field comms
LoRa and LoRaWAN networks, mesh relays and satellite backhaul, plus the data loggers and solar power budgets that keep sensors reporting through winter.
02 · Applied AI
Machine learning, computer vision and LLM agents that run in the cloud, on your servers or on a small device in the field.
03 · Autonomy
Navigation software for drones that must hold position, plan routes and avoid obstacles when GNSS is weak or missing.
04 · Agritech
Soil moisture, weather, tank and trough monitoring, livestock tracking, crop imaging and yield analytics, on one network and one screen.
05 · Fintech data
Financial data pipelines, anomaly and fraud detection, and forecasts with error ranges that an auditor can follow.
06 · IoT
Device fleets that report over MQTT, update over the air and warn you before a machine fails.
How we work
Lab results rarely survive a hot shed, a hill between two antennas or a dusty camera lens. We take a small number of real devices to your site early, measure what happens, and only then commit to a full rollout.
We start with the decision you need to make and the place you need to make it. We look at coverage, power, existing equipment and data, and write down what success looks like.
You getA short written brief with scope, risks and a costed prototype plan.
A handful of working devices goes out in your conditions. We measure range, battery drain, model accuracy and data quality against the brief.
You getField measurements, a working data path and a clear go or no-go.
We harden the design, document the installation and roll out with your team. Firmware, gateways, cloud services and dashboards ship as one tested release.
You getAn installed system, install records and handover documents.
Batteries age and models go stale. We watch device health and model performance, ship updates over the air and adjust as the site changes.
You getHealth monitoring, updates and an agreed support arrangement.
Built for the field
Field hardware fails in predictable ways. We design for those failure modes first, then add features.
We measure current in each state, sleep, sample and transmit, then size solar and batteries for the darkest weeks at your site.
Antenna height and a clear Fresnel zone matter more than transmit power. We survey and test links before choosing gateway sites.
IP-rated enclosures to IEC 60529, vents against condensation, sun shields, sealed entries and surge protection on long cable runs.
Devices buffer readings and inference results locally and send them in order when the link returns. A dropout costs latency, not data.
Our sister company Vedametric is an edge AI and robotics engineering company. It builds distilled AI models, robots, embedded hardware and secure software across Sydney, the Gold Coast and Brisbane. Both companies were founded by Kunal Miind.

Yes. A LoRaWAN gateway on a high point can collect sensor data from across a property, and send it on over a satellite link where there is no mobile network. In open country with a well-placed antenna, links of several kilometres are common. We test the radio path on site before committing to a design. See long-range comms.
Yes. We design complete systems: sensors and loggers, radios and gateways, enclosures and power, firmware, cloud services, models and dashboards. Our sister company Vedametric builds robots, embedded hardware and distilled AI models.
Neuralis and Vedametric are sister companies within Amala Innovation Group, and both were founded by Kunal Miind. Vedametric focuses on edge AI and robotics engineering.
